Which Soup Warmer to Buy

A soup warmer is a big, electric tureen, which is designed to keep soup warm. These are popular at restaurants but they are also good if you are having a big buffet or party and you want to lay all the food out and let people serve themselves. You can use these warmers to keep a stew, chili, or sauce warm too. A lot of these machines are available from kitchen supply stores, although that might not be the cheapest way to get them. This machine heats frozen products to serving temperature, has a two hundred and fifty watt heating element for reliable heating, and has a water fill line so you cannot accidentally let it overflow. This one has a twenty four month warranty. Top of the Range Machine If you want a top of the range food warmer, what about the KS Kettle Server from Server Products? This one will set you back about five hundred dollars. It has an eleven quart capacity and a thermostat. It is made from lightweight aluminum and has a durable copper coating and a stainless steel inset and hinged lid. It features a write on and wipe off flavor card and pen and the lid stays upright while you ladle out the soup. The rim collects moisture and returns it to the soup. The fifteen hundred watt heating element keeps your chicken soup recipe hot and you can adjust the heat between 60 and 200 degrees F. There is a green indicator light to show you when the food has reached the correct temperature. This one comes with a twenty four month warranty and is a good choice if you are choosing a warming machine for a busy restaurant.
